Once you have installed your copy of wpCJ, activate your license and configure the plugin, you are ready to begin promoting products/links and start earning money. There are, however, three requirements that must be fullfilled in order to effectivelly promote a creative using wpCJ:

After you had activated your license, you configure wpCJ. There are some variables that can be set before using wpCJ. However, all of them have default values so it is not strictly neccessary. These variables:

Default Currency: USD, Euro or Pounds.
Allow duplicates Ad Units: If you set this to NO, wpCJ will prevent to show the same Ad Unit twice on a page.
wpCJ Product Search Page: This is the slug of page, that will be shown when a visitor use the wpCJ Search Box. It must contain a wpCJ Result Box shortcode.

To install wpCJ is pretty much like installing any other WordPress plugin.

By using the WordPress' build-in installer:

Open the WordPress "Plugins" module and click on "Add New"
It will bring a page where you can search the plugins you want to install. Click on "Upload" in the upper menu:

Perhaps we are missing something. I can't find any forum topic without a responde from us. I would really appreciate if you point us to any open ticket in this or other forums.

You are right. However, you can also find it by using the Advertiser Analisys Module of wpCJ.

Never mind! Murphy's Law that I found the information I needed after I posted this.

For any who are wondering, it is the last set of numbers in the affiliate link. For example the merchant ID in the following link, http://http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-44234-789431, is 789431.

The 789431 is what I would enter in the plugin options.

I have seen where there is an AID number when I create a link for any given advertiser, but this number changes depending on what type of link I am trying to create. Where do I go to find the AID that I need to enter in the Advertiser ID section of the plugin options?

Hello,

Yes, of course it is safe. CJ provides developers with a public API (a library of functions so to speak) so CJ is, in fact, promoting the use of application like this one.

How could they be teleported to your blog?

Please, upgrade your plugin and visit your posts again. There was an error in the freeware version of the script (exactly, the javascript shortocde used to display products... if you were used the HTML version, you'd probably miss it).

Thanks for the screen shots - I never would have figured that out otherwise.

It seems to be working now (I tried Add a post option) once I figured out the template and zone thing. Now if I can just figure out why every single description of the products is for the "Star Trek Uss Enterprise Replica Ships Standard" I think I will be set. Any idea there? All I added to the template was the [AD_JSCODE] for ad unit code and [AD_CANVAS:1] for the canvas code. The picture and post name is for the correct item but the title and description are for Star Trek LOL My site has nothing to do with Star Trek!

There are several ways to find the Advertiser ID.

Directly in CJ.com, once you hover your mouse on any advertiser name:

In wpCJ, also by hovering the mouse on the Advertiser Name:

And the easiest way, in the advertiser module of wpCJ:

By the way, can you please try to use your links module once again? It seemed we have an issue in our server that were messing some things between us an CJ.com
